About

The first time I realized I loved storytelling was in first grade. I was wandering around the LACMA with my mom when she told me to make up a story about my favorite piece of art without reading the exhibit label. “Say anything I want?” I said. She nodded. And from there, I knew I wanted storytelling to be a part of my life forever.

Of course, I had plenty of career dreams before I landed on content writing and editing (obituary writer, producer, teacher, and cookie critic… to name a few). But five years ago, I left my corporate job in broadcast journalism to pursue working in content and haven’t looked back.

Since then, I’ve written hundreds of blogs about everything from composting to mental health. I’ve interviewed detectives, gardening experts, and museum curators. And I’ve successfully pitched positive stories about dad jokes, dogs, and the power of forgiveness. But more than anything, I love using words to connect with others and help mission-centered organizations stand out.
